Traffic Operations Program Integration Review

The Work Zone Management/Traffic Operations Program Integration Review is looking at the functional and programmatic alignment of various ITS/operations functions within WisDOT’s operations program. The purpose of the project is to evaluate existing WisDOT organizational functionality, operations, ITS maintenance, and technical capacities to determine opportunities for program structure efficiencies, improved resource utilization, potential cost-savings, and streamlining processes and methodologies. The Integration Review is assessing the ITS program across multiple functional areas, including traffic management, work zone operations and management, incident response and management, special event management and maintaining ITS devices and infrastructure.
